The Ukrainian Air Force announced today that it shot down all 29 drones launched by Russia during a nighttime attack that officials said caused only minor damage.

Russia also fired three Kh-59 guided missiles during the attack, according to the Air Force statement.

The governor of Cherkasy region in central Ukraine said shrapnel damaged windows and a home, while governors in Kyiv, Poltava and Kirovkhrad reported no casualties or damage to infrastructure.

The governor of Mykolayiv’s southern district said the Air Force shot down five drones in the area, without giving details of possible damage.

Eight more drones were shot down in the southern region of Kherson, its governor said. According to him, one person was killed and 13 others were injured in various Russian attacks in the area the previous day.
