Terror in Germany. More than 30 people were injured, with two in critical condition Saturday night when a fire broke out in a ferris wheel during a music festival near Leipzig, police said.

The fire broke out around 21:00 (local time, 22:00 in Greece) in one cabin and spread to an adjacent one, leaving four people with serious burns. One person was injured in a fall and 18 people experienced respiratory problems

Several were injured jumping from a great height, in their attempt to leave the burning wheel.

German rapper Ski Aggu said in a video he posted on Instagram that he was told to continue his show despite the fire: “They told me on the headset that I had to continue the show (…) to avoid panic.”

The Highfield Festival, which started on Friday and ends today Sunday on the shores of a lake near Leipzig, is a music event that attracts tens of thousands of people every summer.
