Just after 7 am Hezbollah announced that the first stage of reprisals for the killing of Fouad Shukr was complete. He characterized the attack successful and reports that military targets were hit with 320 rockets and drones.
Flights from Ben Gurion Airport have resumed.

Earlier the Israeli army said in a message: “Anyone who is near zones where the Hezbollah he must leave immediately (…) for his own protection and the protection of his family.”

Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallad announced that he had declared a state of emergency on the home front.

At 7 am, the emergency meeting of Israel’s security council under Benjamin Netanyahu began, which ended after about 1.5 hours.

According to a statement from the Israeli Defense Ministry, Gallant informed Austin that Israel had carried out precision strikes in Lebanon to prevent an imminent threat against Israeli citizens. “We are closely monitoring developments in Beirut and are determined to use all the means at our disposal to defend our citizens,” Gallant said.
Both ministers discussed its importance avoiding regional escalation.
