There are no tourists trapped in the collapsed ice cave, police said
The completion of the search and rescue operation in the ice cave that collapsed yesterday Sunday in southeast Iceland, the police announced today, clarifying that previous reports of two missing tourists were incorrect.

One person was killed and another injured when the cave an organized group of tourists were exploring collapsed on the Breidamerkurjökull glacier – which is part of Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe.
The police had initially announced that the group was 25 members, but it was found that only 23 tourists finally took part in this particular exploration. As a result, searches to locate any stranded people were stopped.
