The candidate of the Democratic party for the presidency Kamala Harris and her vice-presidential candidate Tim Walsh they will grant the first one interview them from the start of their campaign in CNNthe television network announced yesterday Wednesday.

The interview, which will be conducted by journalist Dana Bass in the key state of Georgia, will be broadcast tomorrow Thursday at 21:00 (local time; 04:00 Friday Greek time), CNN clarified.

This is the first full-length interview that the current vice president and presidential candidate will give after outgoing President Joe Biden’s decision to drop out of his re-election campaign more than a month ago, on July 21, following the disastrous his appearance in the debate with Republican Donald Trump.

Republicans and journalists have been clamoring for weeks for Ms. Harris to speak to the press as the campaign enters its final stretch.

She presented her policy at her faction’s conference in Chicago last week, however, in very rough lines, announcing a tax cut for a moderate and hard-line foreign policy, especially vis-à-vis countries like Russia or North Korea.

Kamala Harris’ last interview was in June, when she appeared on CNN again to defend Joe Biden’s political work after the debate with Donald Trump.
