The specific incident takes place on Friday while the attack was carried out on Wednesday under the pretext or reason that they wanted to burn the 150,000 tons of crude oil that the ship carries in its tanks and thus prevent an environmental disaster.
A Houthi spokesman told Reuters they would eventually allow the ship to be towed to drain the oil.
