Video-documentary from the Houthi attack on the Greek-owned tanker “Sounion”, reveals SKAI.

In particular, according to a report by SKAI, in the video, published by the Houthis themselves, the rebels are recorded while they have boarded the Greek-flagged tanker “Sounion”. This is the first footage from the ship shortly after the Houthi strike, in which the Houthis are checking the interior of the tanker, possibly to see if it has been abandoned by its sailors.

The attack was preceded by an RPG anti-tank weapon and for this some fire foci are observed. Then they plant the explosives and detonate them. In the video, the entire tanker can be seen exploding. The specific incident takes place on Friday while the attack was carried out on Wednesday under the pretext or reason that they wanted to burn the 150,000 tons of crude oil that the ship carries in its tanks and thus prevent an environmental disaster.

A Houthi spokesman told Reuters they would eventually allow the ship to be towed to drain the oil.
