Several bodies that may belong to Hamas Israeli hostages have been spotted by Israeli army men in the Gaza Strip.
In the relevant update they provided on Saturday night, the IDF said that “at this stage, forces are still operating in the area and conducting a process to retrieve and identify the bodies, which will take several hours.”
In addition, the Israeli military called on the world not to spread unconfirmed rumours.
However, there is an uproar among the families of the hostages who are in Israel.
In fact, the office that represents them issued a statement against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, adding that if the identifications confirm the worst-case scenario, then tomorrow for Israel will be very different.
“Netanyahu abandoned the hostages, this is now confirmed. From tomorrow the country will tremble, we invite the public to prepare” it is noted, among other things.
Asked about the issue, US President Joe Biden noted that “we have to wait for the identifications”.
