War in Ukraine: No sign of de-escalation in view of the 3rd round of negotiations – The port of Mariupol is excluded

by

Another night of agony passed in Ukraine, without a trace of de-escalation on the horizon. In the meantime, the third round of negotiations is expected to take place over the weekend.

The strategically important port of Mariupol is under “blockade” by the Russian troops, said the mayor of the city. He noted that the port is receiving “relentless” attacks.

“At the moment we are looking for solutions to the humanitarian problems and all possible means to get Mariupol out of the blockade,” Vadim Boichenko said via Telegram.

At the same time, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky issued a new message, in which he said that “if we win, it will be the victory of the whole democratic world, a victory of light over darkness, freedom over slavery.”

He stressed, however: “Support Ukraine. If Ukraine falls, the whole of Europe will fall. If we win and I am sure of that, it will indeed be a great victory for the Republic. It will be a victory for freedom. “

Yesterday, Mr. Zelensky condemned NATO’s decision not to close Ukraine’s airspace, saying that his refusal gave the green light to the subsequent bombing of Ukrainian cities and villages. “You exchanged a few tons of fuel for tons of our own blood,” Zelenski said.
