There is no end to the horror as new details from Mazan’s rape case come to light and “freeze” public opinion.

It is a 63-year-old man named Jean Pierre, a former truck driver in an agricultural cooperative.

Jean Pierre allegedly met Pélicot in a chatroom.

The unfortunate woman was apparently raped 12 times between 2015 and 2020.

Jean-Pierre told the court he admits to the charges.

Jean-Pierre’s 32-year-old son from his first marriage emphasized that the accusations are very serious, something he believes his father understands.

He added that his father should speak in court.

He concluded that he felt “certain” that Jean-Pierre had been manipulated by Pélicot.

“I strongly believe that if he hadn’t met this person, he would never have done something like this,” he said.
