Chad McQueen (Chad McQueen), son of legendary actor Steve McQueen who played “Dutch” in the “Karate Kid” films, has died at the age of 63.

The actor and race car driver died on Wednesday in Palm Springs, California, and his family confirmed his death the following day.

The cause of his death was not known.

Chad McQueen appeared in the films New York Cop (1993) and Red Line (1995), but his film career was not as extensive as his father’s.

Following in his father’s footsteps, however, he had a successful career in motor racing, his true passion.

He raced professionally in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and 12 Hours of Sebring and founded McQueen Racing, a company that develops high-performance cars and motorcycles, continuing the family legacy of passion for cars.
