The famous rapper Sean Diddy was remanded in custody after the heavy indictment that includes extortion, sex trafficking and rape.

The famous rapper, known in the past also by his stage names “Puff Dundee”“P. Diddy’, ‘Didi’, was arrested after singer Casey’s complaint.

Earlier, the judicial authorities rejected the request he made, for release from prison in return for a price of 50 million dollars, having ruled that he was a “security risk”.

According to the 14-page indictment against him, Sean Combs, as is his real name, turned his business empire, which rested, among others, on his particularly profitable investments in the distillery, into a criminal organization.

The rapper’s luxury residences in Miami and Los Angeles have already been raided by federal agents while his career has been wrecked amid a barrage of lawsuits and complaints.

Despite his apparent image as a successful businessman and artist, the lawsuits against him describe him as a violent man who used his fame to attack women.

A former adult film actress, Andrea Inglis, accused him in July of using her “as a sexual pawn for the gratification and financial gain of other persons” between 2004-2009 at parties he threw in the Hamptons, New York, and Florida.

For example, according to CNNCobbs threatened and coerced women to “fulfill his sexual desires” and on many occasions assaulted women by “hitting, punching, dragging them” and throwing objects at them.

As prosecutors point out, he gave the women drugs and money to participate in “well-staged performances” with male prostitutes.

At the same time, they add that in a 2016 incident that became more widely known, having been recorded on video, he attempted to bribe a hotel security guard who intervened when he threw a vase at a woman who was trying to leave.

His lawyer, Mark Agnifilo, says the 54-year-old rapper will plead not guilty to all charges and “will fight to get him released.”

He emphasizes that his client voluntarily went to New York “to surrender” wanting to help their work.

Sean Diddy founded Bad Boy Records in 1993.

His album ‘No Way Out’ won the Grammy for Best Rap Album in 1997.

In total, nine lawsuits have been filed against him since November 2023, including one by his ex-partner, Cassie Ventura.
