The Russian Ministry of Defense, for its part, announced thatover 100 Ukrainians were shot down unmanned aerial vehicles over Russian territory overnight, in raids that reportedly caused limited damage but no casualties.
“101 Ukrainian drones (…) were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems in service,” the ministry said via Telegram.
43 of them were destroyed in the airspace of the Bryansk region (west), which neighbors Ukraine. Its self-administration assured that according to the first information, there are no victims or damage.
Another 18 were destroyed in Krasnodar (southwest), a region that borders Crimea, the Ukrainian peninsula annexed by Russia in 2014.
