OR Russian air defense shot down 15 drones launched by the Ukraine during the night, with a mission to hit targets on Russian territory, the Russian Defense Ministry said today.
Six drones were shot down over the Sea of Azov, four over its territory Rostov in the south of Russia, while the rest were shot down over its territories Kurskof Astrakhanof Belgorod and his Voronezhthe Russian Defense Ministry said in a post on the Telegram messaging app.
Downing of 71 Russian drones overnight
On the other hand, according to today’s report of the Air Force of Ukraine, the air defense of Ukraine shot down 71 of the total of 80 attack drones launched by Russia during the night.
Six more drones were lost after being disabled by the Ukrainians’ use of electronic countermeasures, the air force said on the Telegram messaging app.
Russia also fired two guided missiles from the occupied Luhansk region in Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Air Force, without reporting the results of their operational use.
