Seven buildings collapsed as a result of the Israeli attack, according to Hezbollah-affiliated Al Manar TV.
At least six people were killed and 91 injured by yesterday’s Israeli strikes in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced.
A previous report from the ministry said two dead and 76 injured, and that rescuers were searching for survivors in the ruins of buildings.
Seven buildings collapsed as a result of the Israeli attack, according to Hezbollah-affiliated Al Manar TV. For their part, the Israeli Armed Forces (IDF) reported a “precision strike” on Hezbollah’s headquarters.
Israeli media reported that the target of the Israeli attack was Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. However, a source from the Lebanese movement assured that Hassan Nasrallah is safe.
Hezbollah cordoned off the bombed area, asking journalists to leave. In pictures broadcast live by Al Manar, rescuers can be seen clearing away rubble in search of survivors, while smoke is still rising from some places.
