The Israel Defense Forces announced on Monday that they struck more than 120 Hezbollah terrorist targets in southern Lebanon within an hour. Israeli forces accuse the Shiite group of using civilians as “shields”.
“Today (Monday), following accurate information from the IDF, the IAF (air force) conducted an extensive air operation and struck over 120 terrorist targets to southern Lebanon within an hour. These targets belonged to different units of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, including regional units of Hezbollah’s Southern Front, the Radwan Forces, the Missile and Rocket Force, and the Intelligence Directorate.
“This operation follows a series of strikes aimed at degrading Hezbollah’s command, control and fire capability, as well as assisting ground forces in achieving their operational objectives.”
“Hezbollah has deliberately integrated its terrorist infrastructure and weapons in civilian areasincluding residences, in Lebanon. The IDF continues to conduct precision operations to eliminate threats to Israeli civilians.
The army says that soon, in the operations against Hezbollah, the Israeli navy will be involved.
