“We urge Russia to respect the ceasefire in the humanitarian corridors so that people can leave safely,” said US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at a news conference following his meeting with the Estonian Prime Minister.

He stressed that the United States and its allies are on the side of Ukraine.

“We warn the Kremlin and those who work with it to stop this war of choice.”

He also said that talks are underway with Congress to take more action against Russia. He said hundreds of companies had boycotted Russia. The Russians are already feeling the effects of Putin’s actions.

He further added that “this is Putin’s war and until he stops, the people will hold him responsible for it.”

Regarding US-Estonia relations, he said that together they will fight with all the forces they have to secure NATO territories. The United States and its allies are ready to “face any threat that comes our way, no matter where it comes from,” he added.

“President Putin is turning Russia into a black sheep,” he said.

He also said that Estonia has helped Ukraine a lot. It plans to host more than 10,000 refugees.

Finally, regarding the Kremlin’s statement on “peaceful coexistence” with the United States, Mr. Blinken stressed: “If Russia wants peaceful coexistence with the United States, it must stop the war. It’s clear.”

“The worst is yet to come,” the Estonian prime minister warnedwhile calling for Russia to be isolated from the rest of the world.

Estonian Prime Minister Kaya Callas reiterated the need for joint support for Ukraine – a message that has been emphasized by the West since the beginning of the invasion.

However, she warned: “We must be prepared for the worst, the worst is yet to come.”

He also said that cryptocurrencies should be curtailed in order to close the “windows” on sanctions.

“We will continue to find new tools in our toolbox until Putin’s war machine is paralyzed,” Ms Callas said.
