Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukrainian territory, 41 children have lost their lives and 76 children have been injured, said Lyudmila Denisova, Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) Commissioner for Human Rights.
“By 12:00 on March 8, 2022, since the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 41 children have been killed and 76 injured,” Denisova said in a message to her Telegram channel.
He added that in the Dnipropetrovsk region the local Ukrainian authorities evacuated another 300 people from Kharkov. “Among those rescued is a mother with three children who came under fire from Russian artillery at night. As a result of the bombing, one of her babies was injured by the shock wave. “Also, during a conversation with the police, the woman said that a neighbor’s child died in front of them”, Denisova’s message states.
According to Denisova, once again “the invader shot the civilian population of the city of Mykolaiv”.
“The actions of the Russian occupation troops are a direct violation of them Hague and Geneva ConventionsÏ‚! I call on the international community and international human rights organizations to take all possible measures to stop the military offensive of the Russian Federation. NATO countries – close the sky! ” noted in a statement, referring to a zone of imposition of air blockade on Russian aircraft.
