Donald Trump’s firm support for the Greek-American community and his commitment to further strengthen Greek-American relations were underlined by his top adviser on foreign policy matters, Richard Grenell.

The American ambassador was the honored person at the event organized by “Greeks for Trump” at the historic Union League building in Philadelphia with the aim of mobilizing the Greek-American community as we enter the final stretch for the American elections.

The event was attended by important members of the Greek-American community, businessmen and supporters of Trump.

According to the announcement, Richard Grenell focused on issues of particular interest to Greek Americans, such as promoting religious freedom and supporting the Ecumenical Patriarchate, deepening Greek-American relations and promoting security in the Eastern Mediterranean region.

In addition, he also focused on the issues of internal topicality. In particular, he presented Trump’s economic program for the reduction of taxes, the reduction of inflation and the revitalization of small and medium-sized businesses that are the backbone of the Greek-American community.

The event was co-chaired by MPs Gas Bilirakis and Nicole Malliotakis, as well as expatriate businessman Christos Marafatsos, who for his part explained that Richard Grenell pledged to continue to maintain open channels of communication with the Greek community.

“This is a pivotal moment for our country and Greek-Americans have a crucial role to play in the re-election of Donald Trump. President Trump’s leadership continues to bring us results and will defend the interests of the Greek-American community”, stressed Christos Marafatsos.
