A drone attack in an area of ​​Central Israel occurred shortly after 10 p.m.

Two drones were spotted crossing from Lebanon into Israeli airspace, the military said tonight, shortly after air raid sirens sounded in northern and central Israel.

According to the statement, one of the “enemy aircraft” was intercepted.

Israeli fighter jets took off and shot down one drone, but it has not been clarified why it was not possible to intercept the second one.

“The incident is considered over,” the military added, without elaborating.

A nursing home in the city of Herzliya, north of Tel Aviv, was heavily damaged in an attack launched by Lebanon’s Hezbollah on Friday night, according to a report by the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth. No injuries were reported, he emphasizes.

In the IDF update, it is emphasized that the exact circumstances under which the building in the city of Herzliya was hit are being investigated. A fire broke out at the scene, causing a power outage in districts of the city.
