Donald Trump said Friday that former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy the Younger, an anti-vaccinationist known for embracing improbable conspiracy theories, will take on a “major role” in public health if the Republican wins the presidential election on Tuesday.

It will play a “big role in health,” said Mr. Trump, “knows the issue better than anyone.”

Already, yesterday Thursday the tycoon assured that Mr. Kennedy “will work for women’s health.”

During his presidency (2017-2021), Mr. Trump named three conservative justices to the Supreme Court, decisively shifting the balance of power in the body, allowing the federal guarantee of abortion rights to be repealed in the summer of 2022.

RFK Jr., an environmental lawyer and member of America’s political dynasty—much of which has disowned him—is known for his controversial, often conspiracy-minded positions.

At the end of August, the until then independent candidate for the US presidency withdrew from the race and rallied in favor of Donald Trump.

He expresses “opinions with which I completely agree for a long time”, the latter threw to reporters, when asked about the (indulgently) skeptical positions against vaccines expressed by his new ally.

Mr. Among other things, Kennedy has called the vaccines against COVID-19 the “deadliest ever made” and has supported the theory that the virus was genetically “engineered” to target… ethnic and racial groups, especially blacks and whites , and not to pollute “the Ashkenazi (Jews) and the Chinese”.
