A federal judge has issued a temporary restraining order against six people accused of voter intimidation by videotaping, stalking and threatening people inside Michigan polling stations. They threatened that if Kamala Harris was elected “someone will get hurt”, even children.

According to a complaint filed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), six unnamed individuals aimed to “threaten, intimidate, harass and dissuade voters” from participating in the presidential election.

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson responded to the ACLU’s allegations, saying state officials are “working with partners across the state to investigate any allegations of bullying,” but assured that “there have been no credible reports of obstruction of anyone.” .

Federal Judge Terence Berg, appointed by Barack Obama, ordered the individuals in question to “stop harassing or intimidating voters inside or outside the polls during the November 2024 election.”
