The Russian armed forces have launched a drone strike against Odessa, hitting a residential building and facilities of the region’s heating network, according to local officials.

“Another terrorist act in Odessa. A residential building was affected,” regional governor Oleh Kiper wrote in a post on Telegram.
“The main pipeline of the heating network” in the area was destroyed by the enemy’s attack, Mayor Hennadi Trukhanov said.
Ukrainian authorities had earlier raised the alarm of an imminent airstrike, calling on residents to rush to shelters.
