Kimberly Guilfoyle was chosen by Donald Trump as the US ambassador to Greece, who in addition to being his son’s ex-fiancée, had also been accused of sexual harassment and had quietly left Fox News long before her contract expired according to The New Yorker.

In November 2018, a young woman who worked for Guilfoyle at Fox News accused her of for sexual harassmentwhich was recorded in a confidential 42-page complaint document. The assistant reported that Guilfoyle subjected her to frequent sexually inappropriate behavior, including nudity, showing inappropriate photos of men she had been in a relationship with, and sexual demands. The complaint also included pressuring Guilfoyle to participate in sexual acts, criticizing her body and forcing her to participate in situations that made her uncomfortable, such as sharing a room with her on business trips or spending nights at the her apartment.

The situation worsened when the aide reported that Guilfoyle tried to buy her silence with money. Guilfoyle allegedly promised a monetary settlement, as well as other benefits, if the assistant agreed to testify falsely about her experiences during a workplace harassment investigation at Fox. According to multiple sources, Guilfoyle also warned her that her reputation could be damaged if she did not comply. The assistant declined the offer, chose to tell the truth and eventually filed a complaint, which contributed to Fox’s internal investigation. As a result, Guilfoyle forced out of Fox News in 2018several years before her contract was scheduled to expire.

Despite the serious allegations, Guilfoyle continued to play a central role in Trump’s campaign. He became a prominent figure at the 2020 Republican National Convention, where he gave an explosive speech of support for Trump, warning that Democrats wanted to “destroy this country». Her presentation won praise from Trump, who called it one of the “greatest” speeches he’s ever heard.
