Russia knows who ordered the terrorist attack on Lt. Gen. Kirillov, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday, in the wake of the arrest of a 29-year-old Uzbek man for killing the Lt. Gen. and his aide early Tuesday in Moscow. The 29-year-old reportedly stated that he was recruited by the Ukrainian secret service (SBU).
“The special services are effectively investigating the case of the murder of Igor Kirillov, it is obvious that the “client” is the Kiev regime”said Peskov.
Putin expresses deep condolences over the death of the head of the nuclear, biological and chemical protection forces, Igor Kirillov, Peskov said, in his first statement on the killing of the lieutenant general.
“Ukraine uses terrorist methods… The fight against this Nazi regime will continue… His killing once again proves the correctness of Russia’s actions during the “special operation” (war in Ukraine),” the Russian official added.
