The brother of an Israeli Homer who is probably dead in Gaza and his name is on the list of people who meet the requirements of being released soon under the truce agreement, said today that he prefers to release a hostage who is alive rather than surrender of his brother.

THE Brother of Izik Elgaratan Israeli-Dan, was among the 251 people who were abducted on October 7, 2023, in the unprecedented attack by Gaza by the Palestinian Islamist Hamas organization in Israel.

This man, who was 68 years old when he was abducted, is on the list of hostages over 50 years held in Gaza and are among those who would meet the terms of liberation during the first phase of the truce agreement, which ended in the War between Hamas and Israel, as there are humanitarian cases.

Eight of the hostages expected to be delivered to the first phase of the deal are dead, David Menser, a spokesman for the Israeli government, announced yesterday.

The first phase of six weeks, which began on January 19th, the day of the cessation of hostilities in the Palestinian enclave, is projected to lead to the release of 33 hostages in exchange for the release of 1,900 Palestinians held by Israel.

Seven women hostages have already returned to their homes during the first two exchanges on January 19 and 25.

Israel had reported on Monday night that it had a list of Hamas for a long time, on the state of all the hostages that the first phase was concerned with, in order to know who they were alive and Who dead.
