Under the slogan “One step closer to justice” hundreds of students began marching from Belgrade to the city of Novi Sad, which is about 100 kilometers away. The march takes place in memory of the 15 victims from the fall of the cornice at Novi Sad Railway Station on November 1, 2024. The march started, symbolically, by the Drama School, which was the first school to be occupied by students on November 26 of last year.

The march is attended by ten students from each school at the University of Belgrade, who are equipped with food, water and scenes. Students will spend the night in an outdoor area in the city of Inzia and tomorrow morning they will continue their journey to Novi Sad.

The world’s response to the areas where students pass through. Citizens welcome them with cheers, applaud, embrace them, offer them water, juices, pastries and food.

Students will arrive in the city of Novi Sad on the morning of February 1, which will be the three months of the tragedy at the train station. For this day, a large gathering of students and citizens is planned in Novi Sad in front of the train station in memory of the 15 victims of the tragedy.

The students will then block for 24 hours three bridges on the Danube River that flows through the city of Novi Sad.
