North Korea today stated that its nuclear weapons are not intended for negotiations, but to be used against enemies that would threaten its people and world peace, as reported by the North Korean News Agency (KCNA).

The announcement saw the light of publicity in the wake of the US president’s meeting Donald Trump With the Japanese prime minister Sigeru Isiban in the White House, in which the two leaders pledged to ensure that North Korea will terminate the nuclear weapons development program.

KCNA did not mention yesterday’s Trump-Isiba meeting, but cited comments of NATO and EU officials who repeated the demands for complete nuclearization of North Korea.

“We reiterate once again: Our nuclear weapons are not for advertising purposes to ensure recognition by anyone, let alone a negotiating trump exchanged with money,” the statement said. “Our nuclear forces are intended for decisive warfare that will rapidly eliminate any efforts to hostile forces against our people’s national sovereignty and the security of our people and threaten world peace.”underlined.
