One person was killed and four others were injured when a rocket-propelled grenade fell on an apartment building in its northern part. Kiev this morning, the emergency response service announced.
The agency said in a statement that 12 people were rescued and 98 were removed from the five-storey building.
An eyewitness had earlier told Reuters that an explosion was heard in northern Kiev this morning and then smoke rose into the sky.
The news was broadcast earlier by SKAI’s envoy Miltos Sakellaris.
Rumors broke into the building to evacuate the occupants of the complex, whose wall has collapsed and a huge crater. This is probably a shell.

They have it everywhere scattered debris, windows have collapsed and cars have been damaged by the shockwave. Residential houses have suffered similar damage.
Two people who were rescued have been given blankets and first aid. It is not yet known if there are any injured or dead.
