One year is completed by the death of Alexei Navalny, the fierce critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Events are being organized both in Russia and abroad and the plan of its tombstone is expected to be revealed today.

The widow of Navalny, Julia Navalnahia, organized a tender plan for a tombstone in December. Hundreds of ideas were submitted, mainly from Russia but also from foreign countries. Earlier this month, Navalgia asked people to vote between the three designs chosen by the family and to donate to build the plaque to be placed on her husband’s tomb in Moscow.

Navalny’s widow also invited people to a memory ceremony in Berlin. Navalnae continues the work of her husband from abroad.

The Navalny team also plans to honor the anniversary with a ceremony that will be broadcast directly online, in which friends and associates will talk about his work. Concentrations, screenings of the documentary “Navalny” and Awakening are also designed.

Navalny died in a penitentiary colony in the Arctic in February 2024 while serving a 19 -year sentence for charges, which he himself had been politically motivated. The conditions of his death have not been clarified.
