Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed on Friday that rescue operations were under way at the bombed-out theater in Mariupol, from where 130 people have been rescued alive so far.
In his last sermon, Zelensky stressed that hundreds of people are still trapped under the ruins of the theater that was bombed on Thursday.
In an online speech, Zelensky also said that bombings by Russian forces continue to prevent authorities from establishing effective humanitarian corridors to the besieged port city in southern Ukraine.
The President of Ukraine also commented that Western arms deliveries to Ukraine are very slow. “We remind some Western leaders again that it will be a moral defeat for them … if Ukraine does not take advanced weapons,” he said.
The Russian military said the fighting have reached the center of the strategically important citywhere thousands of people remain trapped.

About 130 people managed to escape alive from a shelter of the Drama Theater in Mariupol after the Russian bombing, but in the basement of the theater, under the wreckage, at least they remain trapped. 1,300 people, The statement came from Ukrainian Parliamentary Human Rights Commissioner Ludmila Denisova on Friday.

Italy will be one of the first countries to undertake the reconstruction of the Mariupol theater after the criminal act of the Russians. This news was confirmed by the announcement of Dario Francescini through his Twitter account:
