A Russian senator commented ironically the meeting of European leaders who took place in London yesterday because he did not present a plan to end the war in Ukraine, arguing that the only hope for Kiev is to improve Moscow’s relationships with Washington.

In a post on the Telegram platform, Constantine Kosatsov was expressed by derogatory comments about the London Summit, referring to a “hopeless attempt to show as a success the failure of a 10 -year -old Ukrainian political motion against Russia and from Russia – from Russia.

“Europe has no plan,” wrote Kosatsov, head of the Council of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federation (ed. “If Ukraine can count on something, this can only be improvement (if it can) in Russian American relations,” he claimed.

He said that Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski and British Prime Minister Kir Starmer, host of the meeting, “cannot be understood.”
