The Federal Aviation Service restores 132 employees who were fired on February 14, after a federal judge in Maryland ordered their return.

The Professional Aviation Safety Specialists said that the test officials who were fired as part of the Doge team’s cuts under the leadership of Ilon Musk will receive delay and return to service on March 20th.

Transport Minister Sin Dafi said last month that FAA cut off 352 test employees of about 45,000 in total, but said none of them were in “critical security” positions.

In the meantime, US President Donald Trump has appointed a new head of the US Federal Aviation Service.

US President appointed Republic Airways, CEO of Brian Bedfordas an administrator of the Federal Aviation Service, as he said on Monday on social media.

The position requires confirmation of the Senate.

“Brian brings more than three decades of experience to aviation and executive leadership in this critical position,” Trump said on social media.
