TDA has spread its tentacles across Latin America but also in the US, where it has been formally described as a “terrorist organization”
US diplomat leader Marko Rubio said during his visit to Wyana Thursday, a small country bordering Venezuela, that some Venezuelan gang members Tren de Aragua / TDA are worse by al -Qaeda jihadists.
“Tran de Aragua is one of the most dangerous gangs that people have ever known. When (members of this gang) they were temporarily held in Guantanamo, I had said: “Some are one of the toughest people we have known.” They were even worse than al -Qaeda members who were held in their prisons, “the US foreign minister said emphatically.
The Venezuelene TDA gang has spread its tentacles across Latin America but also in the US, where it has been officially characterized “Terrorist organization”.
The Trump government has fiercely criticized the expulsion of immigrants from the US with concise procedures, including 238 that were transferred to a highest security prison in El Salvador, without a trial. The US government argues that the deported were members of the infamous gang of Tran de Aragua.
“This list has been carefully tested. We were given by the Ministry of Homeland Security. We have confidence in it, “Rubio said. “They’re really bad people (…) We get rid of them and want to get rid of even more, “he said, referring to TDA gang members.
For its part, Caracas rejects Washington’s objections to Venezuelan imprisonment in El Salvador, referring to “abductions” and demanding their release.
Relatives and lawyers of the 238 Venezuelans who were described as members of the TDA gang assure them that they are innocent and that they were unjustly sent to a high security prison of El Salvador. They even accused the US authorities of referring to the tattoos of those deported to support the charges of participating in the criminal organization.
