Video circulating online, but also media reports that one of Vladimir Putin’s limousines exploded and wrapped in flames in Moscow with the Russian president ordering an investigation into the incident.

An Aurus limousine from Putin’s “official car fleet” was blown up in a huge explosion on a road north of the FSB Secret Service headquarters in Lubianca, Moscow, reports said.

Surprised passers -by watched as black smoke came out of the front of the damaged vehicle, while the fire continued to rage.

Video from another corner seemed to show that the rear of the vehicle had been damaged.

It is not known who used the car – which is believed to belong to Putin’s presidential management department.

No information has been reported on what may have caused the sudden fire, but those inside the vehicle were not injured.

The 72 -year -old Putin uses Russian -made cars on a regular basis.
