The mutual duties announced by US President Donald Trump will immediately enter into force on April 2, as the White House announced.

As far as car duties are concerned, they will proceed according to the scheduled schedule on April 3, White House spokesman Caroline Levit said.

Although many of the details remain unknown, perhaps in Trump himself, as CNN says, the government’s commercial policy announcement on “Day of Liberation” is expected to be the most aggressive tariff move to date.

Trump meets Tuesday with his team and the duties he will announce at a ceremony in the Rhodes Garden at 11 pm Greek time on Wednesday will be implemented “immediately”, a White House spokesman said.

Trump has promised to impose aggressive duties on US imports as a solution to almost any problem. His decision raises concern for investors, economists, chief executives and citizens who fear that duties will cause more damage than benefit.
