In a series of posts on the social networking platform X, Ilon Musk described Peter Navarro as “really foolish”
Ilon Musk against Peter Navarro fired an incredible attitude, responding to comments about Tesla, which had been preceded by Trump’s top trade adviser.
In a series of posts on the social media platform X, Ilon Musk described Peter Navarro as a “really foolish”.
These posts were the last in a series of controversy between the two, which broke out after Trump’s announcement last week to impose a 10% minimum duty on most imports and additional duties in about 60 countries with larger commercial deficits with the US. The announcement was seen as a political victory for Navaros, who supports the shift in more aggressive commercial measures to strengthen domestic production.
Peter Navarro on Elon Musk:
“We all Understand in the White House (and the American People Understand) That Elon’s a Car Manufacturer. But he’s not a car manufacturer – he’s a car assembler.

Shortly after the announcement, Musk attacked Navarro, saying that his Harvard economy degree is “bad, not good” and criticizing the trade adviser for not creating companies on his own.
Navarro, in a subsequent CNBC interview, said the criticism was no surprise by Tesla’s chief executive, as he described him as a “car assembly” using accessories from other countries.
When it comes to duties and trade, we all understand at the White House – and the American people understand – that Ilon is not a car manufacturer. He is a car assembly, “Navarro said.
“He’s a car man. He does, and he wants cheap accessories from abroad, “he added.
These allegations angered Musk, who, in addition to personal attacks, defended Tesla as “the most complete car manufacturer in America with the highest rate of car construction”.
″ Tesla has the most American cars. Navarro is more stupid than a sack of bricks, ”Musk wrote,

The controversy between Trump’s partners comes as many companies, countries and commercial bodies express their frustration over uncertainty about how to negotiate the reduction of Trump’s duties. The highest duties in selected countries are expected to come into force after midnight.
The US president has stated that, while it is open to make agreements with the right concessions, he seeks relief from both the duties of other countries and from non -tariff barriers, such as regulations and coins manipulation.
