Disruption prevailed a few days ago – and specifically on Thursday 3/4 – on a flight from Manchester to Rhodes. The staff were forced to tie a disciplined passenger in his position, using backup zones because he refused to sit during landing.

The passenger allegedly shouted at the cabin crew, which, according to testimonies, had seized two bottles of alcohol and refused to serve him, as reported by the Dailymail.

Indeed, when he did not comply with the commands sitting during landing and the pilot was forced to cancel the descent and circle before landing. The episode was also recorded in a video, where a member of the staff is heard shouting to the passenger “sit down, now!”

Another video shows two police officers accompanying the man outside the plane.

Passenger that filmed the episode explained that the man was so annoying that the crew was forced to ask other passengers to change position, mainly to move a little girl near him.

According to her, the cabin crew took two backup zones and tried to put the man in his seat, but he managed to get up.

The passenger also stressed that airline officials had warned that anyone who consumed alcohol he bought in Duty Free before the flight would be arrested by the police during landing unless she stored it, so no further measures will be taken.

He also described the fact that they had to circle over the island until the issue was resolved.
