The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will have a meeting tomorrow Thursday with the chairman of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Maurer in Moscow, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today.
Maurer will be in Moscow for talks on conflict in Ukraineas announced yesterday by a representative of DEES.
“The agenda of the meeting includes the discussion of the key areas of the ICRC’s work in the field of humanitarian crisis management,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Summit: Russia will be held accountable for crimes in Ukraine
THE Russia is carrying out attacks against the civilian population and civilian structures including hospitals, medical facilities, schools and shelters, states the draft conclusions of the forthcoming Summit made known to the EURACTIV site.
“These crimes must stop immediately. “Those responsible and their accomplices will be held accountable,” the statement said, adding that Russia’s aggressive war against Ukraine “grossly violates international law and causes massive loss of life and civilian casualties.”
