At the world famous Coachella Festival in California, USA, independent Senator and political activist Bernie Sanders, who even spoke against Donald Trump, appeared on Sunday night.

Sanders – Congress’s longest -running independent MP – went on stage to present Clairo singer and – in a dynamic style – urged the youth to vote against President Trump’s policies, describing them as “dangerously wrong”.

The 83 -year -old politician called on the younger generation to “oppose” the fossil fuel industry, US insurance companies and states trying to abolish the rights of abortions, while the common yogurt was heard every time Donald Trump’s name was heard.

“This country faces some very difficult challenges and America’s future depends on your generation,” Sanders said,

“You can move away and ignore what is happening, but if you do this, you do it at your own risk. You have to get up and fight for justice, financial justice, social justice and racial justice, ”he said.

“We have an economy today that works very well for the billionaires, but not for working families,” Sanders said.

In conclusion, and talking about health care, he called on the public to “stand against insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies and understand that healthcare is a human right”.

Sanders also praised Timo Governor and singer Clairo for her activist action

“I am here because Klairo used her prominent position to fight for women’s rights to try to end the terrible, brutal war in Gaza, where thousands of women and children are killed,” the 83 -year -old politician said.

Bernard “Bernie” Sanders, is an American politician and activist who has been serving as the United States Senator for the State of Vermont since 2007. He is politically independent, but belongs to the Democratic Conference in the Senate.

In recent years it has become the leading progressive voice in the Senate, exerting a significant influence on the body.
