The Israeli army announced today that it hit the Islamist organization’s Hezbollah infrastructure in the South Lebanon at night, without giving further details.

The army “will intervene against Hezbollah’s attempt to rebuild or create a military presence with political pretexts,” he said in a statement.

Despite the ceasefire that came into force on November 27, Israel continues to unleash the attacks on Lebanon, stating that it is targeting the pro -Hezbollah.

The army did not give any clarification on the locations targeted last night, for the type of bumps or even their outcome.

The war that erupted in October 2023 between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip pushed Hezbollah to open a front with Israel from South Lebanon in support of the Islamic Palestinian organization.

The ceasefire agreement, which entered into force in late November, provides for the development of only UN cyanocra and the Lebanese army in southern Lebanon, on the border with Israel.

Hezbollah, which was largely weakened by the war, must be withdrawn north of the Litani River, which is about 30 kilometers from the Israeli border, and dissolve its remaining military infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army, which had to be completely withdrawn from South Lebanon, remained in five strategic positions.
