Lebanese President Joseph Aun called the United States and France, guarantors of the ceasefire agreement that put an end to the war between Israel and the pro -Hezbollah organization, to “force” Israel to “stop” in the air.

According to a statement by the Presidency, Joseph Aun “condemned the Israeli attack in the southern sector”, adding that the US and France, as guarantors of the ceasefire agreement, must take responsibility and force Israel to stop.

“Israel’s ongoing actions in undermining stability will aggravate tensions and put the region in real danger, threatening its security and stability,” the Lebanese president said.

The Israeli army today hit Hezbollah’s “precision rocket” warehouse in Beirut, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced.

“At the behest of Prime Minister Netanyahu and Minister of Defense Kats, the army hit a warehouse in Beirut where Hezbollah had stored precision missiles, a major threat to the Israeli state,” the Israeli office said.

It was a blow to the southern part of the Lebanese capital shortly after the Israeli army’s mandate to residents to evacuate the area, Reuters and the French Agency reported earlier.

“Today’s blow to the southern suburbs of Beirut caused panic and fear of repeating violence between those who are desperately seeking to return to normalcy,” said Janin Henis-Plasart, UN special coordinator for Lebanon on the platform.

“We call on all sides to stop any actions that could further undermine the interruption of hostilities, the understanding and implementation of SCR’s 1701,” he added, referring to the UN Security Council resolution that ended the war between Israel and Hezbollah in 2006.

Earlier this month, Israeli air bombardment killed four people, including a Hezbollah official in the southern suburbs of Beirut – was the second Israeli blow within five days in an area of the Lebanese capital.

Attacks in southern Beirut were repeated in a period of wider escalation of hostilities in the region, with Israel resulting in Gaza’s strikes after a two -month truce and the United States hitting those supported by Iran Houthi in Yemen.

Israel has suffered severe blows in Hezbollah in the latest war, killing thousands of its fighters, destroying much of its arsenal and killing its supreme leadership, including Hassan Nasrala.

Hezbollah denies that he had any role in recent attacks with rockets from Lebanon to Israel.
