The media outlets of Houthi in Yemen today reported that the strikes of the IPPA were targeted by immigrant detention center in Saanda, their stronghold in the northern part of the country, resulting in at least 35 people killed.

“Thirty -five corpses were recovered from the debris of the African Migrant Detention Center, and the Civil Protection and Red Crescent teams continue their efforts in the US crime,” the Houthi television network Al Massirah said.

The network also cited a statement by the Houthi Interior Ministry, referring to “dozens of dead and injured”, while noting that 115 African immigrants were in the detention center.

Since January and Donald Trump’s return to the presidency, the US has intensified their military operations against Houthi in Yemen with the aim of ending their attacks on Israel and international navigation in the Red Sea.

The most deadly American raid so far was the one that occurred earlier in April against an oil export terminal in the Red Sea, which cost at least 74 people.

The US Armed Forces announced yesterday, Sunday, that they have hit more than 800 targets in Yemen since March 15.
