There is confusion about the fate of the new Hamas leader in Gaza, Mohammedinuar (right in the light), who was targeted by a massive Israeli air raid in a hospital in the southern strip of Gaza on Tuesday afternoon, sources said.

At least 28 people were killed and dozens were injured in a raid that reportedly hit the Hamas administration center under Han Younes Hospital.

Sinuar, Hamas Senior Military Commander, is the younger brother of the former Hamas leader in Gaza, Yama Sinuar, who was killed by Israeli forces in southern Gaza last October.

The Israeli Armed Forces, which did not confirm if Sinuar was killed, said in a statement that they had targeted Hamas members at a terrorist -owned basement center under the European Hospital in Han Younes. The army also posted videos of the raid. The video is supposed to show that the invasion of the Israeli forces had revealed the tunnel under the hospital, though it shows an adjacent school rather than the medical center.

Plans published online showed quite large clouds of tobacco climbing the ground around the hospital, as Israeli Air Force fighter jets were throwing dozens of bombs.

After the attack, the Israeli defense army issued a discharge warning for the Palestinians in Jambalia, Northern Gaza. Writing on X, Israeli Army spokesman Arabici Antrai published a map of the region to be evacuated, saying it was a “last warning” before the Israeli army was blowing there.

A few hours after the raid, three missiles were fired from Northern Gaza to Askelon and Squadrot in southern Israel, the army said, adding that it had stopped two rockets and the third fell into an open area. There were no injuries to the attack, the responsibility for which the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization took on.
