“We’re not looking for war,” says the Iranian president – four rounds of talks have made Iran and US – Tehran says he did not receive an American proposal
Iranian President Massoud Pezkian said today that US President Donald Trump talks about peace and threats at the same time.
“What to believe?” Pezkian said at an event in Tehran. “On the one hand, he talks about peace and on the other, he threatens with the most advanced mass murder tools.”
Tehran will continue nuclear talks Iran-HPA but is not afraid of threats. ‘We don’t seek war’, said Pezkian.
Trump said yesterday that Iran has a US proposal for its nuclear program and knows that it should move quickly to resolve a decades of conflict. “They have a proposal. The most important thing is that they know that something ugly should move quickly – something bad will happen, “ Trump told reporters at Air Force One, departing from the United Arab Emirates yesterday, according to the audio record of his statements.
However, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragi said in a post in X that Tehran has not received an American proposal. “There is no scenario on the basis of which Iran will abandon the right to enrich (uranium) for peaceful purposes …”he said.
Pezcian said Iran would not “Reduce from our legal rights.”
“Because we refuse to succumb to bullying, they say we are a source of instability in the area,” said.
THE fourth round Talks between Iran and the US was completed in Oman last Sunday, and a new round of discussion has not yet been scheduled.
