Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins had been taking cannabis, opiates and antidepressants before giving up his last breath on Friday night at a Bogota hotel, Colombian authorities said.

“Toxicological tests have identified 10 substances so far in Taylor Hawkins’s body, including cannabis, antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opiates,” the Colombian authorities said.

Shortly before he died, Hawkins complained of “chest pain.” The doctor who rushed to the hotel attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation, but to no avail, according to Bogota City Hall.

The band, one of the most influential and recognized in the field of alternative rock, was to appear in Bogota, as part of the Estéreo Picnic Festival.

The concert was canceled and the audience observed a minute of silence in memory of the Foo Fighters drummer.

Hawkins has been a member of the Foo Fighters since 1997 and has starred in some of their biggest hits, such as “Learn to Fly” or “Best of You”.

He passed away on Friday night at the age of just 50.
