Dramatic are the images that captures a video released online, highlighting the magnitude of the humanitarian crisis experienced by the Palestinians in Gaza. The material can see hundreds of people climbing a metal fence and running to enter aid distribution point, which manages the Gaza Humanitarian Aid Foundation (GHF)
At first, the Palestinians seem to wait behind a fence, before hearing a voice – out of the shot, with American accent – giving instructions. They are then distinguished to enter the space and shout as they run to humanitarian aid.

GHF is a controversial organization backed by Israel and the US, with the aim of bypassing the UN as the main assistance body to the Palestinians.
The UN and other humanitarian organizations refuse to work with GHF, arguing that it violates the fundamental principles of humanitarian aid: neutrality, impartiality and independence.
The controversial video was released by Alon Li-Grin, an Israeli anti-war activist, who said he received it from a “American company in Gaza” employee. It is not clear whether it was referred to GHF or some of the private security companies that are managing the distribution points of the organization.
In a post on the X platform, Green described the scene as “Apocalyptic”.
“But this is not a disaster movie – it’s the hell we created in Gaza,” he wrote. “That’s how people who starve: they run for food, risking their lives. This is how the “ap-humanization” looks like millions of people. “
