Russian anti -aircraft defense today turned two Ukrainian unmanned aircraft to Moscow, said city mayor Sergei Sobianin.

Reuters was unable to verify that report from independent sources.

Separately, the Russian Civil Aviation Authority Rosaviatsia said it has temporarily stopped all flights to and from Kaluga Airport, a city about 200 kilometers southwest of Moscow.

It is noted that Russia has intensified its attacks on the capital of Ukraine, as it has launched hundreds of Russian drones against Kiev in all directions for the second consecutive night.

At least two people were killed, including a 22 -year -old police officer, Maria Sziumha, according to authorities, and more than twelve were injured.

Russia has intensified its aerial attacks on Ukraine in recent weeks, but Thursday’s blow seems to mark a change in Moscow tactics.

According to a post by Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski on Telegram, Russia launched 400 drones and 18 missiles, including eight ballistic and six cruise missiles.

Unmanned aircraft were moving to different heights and attacked in all directions, with some to cross the capital first and then changing their way and returning to Kiev at a speed.
