Villages were re -evacuated in northwest Turkey As forest rage fires. The new alarm was sounded in the şarköy area of Tekirtag (Raidestos) province and expanded to the Marmara area, with at least two active fronts in the Tsanakale.

In sarcoy, aerial aircraft were reinforced and 21 aircraft operate from dawn.

According to Turkish reports, the fire began on an agricultural land near the Istiklal neighborhood yesterday afternoon, and within 18 hours it spread uncontrollably to Tsanakale because of the strong winds.

“There is a reference to a bird that hit a power line north of Senkei two days ago,” local media also said.

400 firefighters with 100 vehicles are fighting for the extinguishing, according to Tekirdag governor Recep Soitke.

Preventive evacuations were carried out in the villages of Senkei, Kizilzaterzi and Kotsali, with four people hospitalized due to tobacco inhalation.

For overnight, the attempt to extinguish the tuzla, the Tasagil and the Chamkioi, where the fire that broke out on July 15 in the village of Naldocen, Aivatzik, appeared to be rekindled.

The fiery fronts have been raging in Turkey since the end of June, with an average of 77 fires a day.
