Donald Trump launched today his first day in Scotland with a golf batch on his stadium in Turnbury, under strong police protection, away from demonstrations announced against his visit to many cities.

In the rain and accompanied by his son Eric, the US president threw his first blows to the golf course at the Luxury Trump family owned, as reported by a French News Agency reporter.

The arrival of the head of the US state last night in Turnbury converted this graphic and usually quiet area in southwestern Scotland into a real fort, with closed roads and checkpoints settled by police.

Police and military patrol this morning this golf course, as well as the sandy beaches and lush hills surrounding it.
