US President Donald Trump told European leaders that he wants to organize a trilateral summit between himself, Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski and Russian President Vladimir Putin until next Friday, and that he will start working for him.

According to CNN, European officials expect that at least one more leader from Europe will take part in these talks on Monday, but it was not yet clear who.

However, German Bild, citing government sources in Berlin, reported that German leaders Friedrich Mertz, France Emmanuel Macron and Britain Kir Starmer will go to Washington Monday to attend the Washington meeting with the UK if there is an official invitation from the White House.

According to the newspaper, Donald Trump has offered Volodimir Zelenski the opportunity to be accompanied by European politicians, but there is no official call for themselves. Europeans, Bild notes, “are determined to avoid a clean show.”
